Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SlopBuster, a service provided by Connectory (a product of Tactical Edge AI), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use SlopBuster. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SlopBuster is an AI-powered code quality and governance platform that provides:

  • Automated code reviews for pull requests
  • AI slop detection and framework reinvention identification
  • Quality radar scoring across multiple dimensions
  • Interactive Q&A for code review findings
  • Technical debt tracking and merge recommendations
  • Integration with GitHub and GitLab (coming soon)

3. Account Registration

To use SlopBuster, you must create an account and connect your GitHub account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any information to keep it accurate
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Pricing Plans

SlopBuster offers various subscription plans, including a free tier for open source projects. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at the time of purchase.

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed through our third-party payment providers
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy

4.3 Free Tier Limitations

The free tier is intended for open source projects and has usage limitations. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SlopBuster to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
  • Use automated means to access the service beyond normal API usage

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

SlopBuster, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by Tactical Edge AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service.

6.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to your code and content. By using SlopBuster, you grant us a limited license to access and process your code solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your code or use it for any purpose other than providing the service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of SlopBuster is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the service, you consent to such processing.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SLOPBUSTER IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. CODE REVIEW SUGGESTIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR CODE DECISIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TACTICAL EDGE AI AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tactical Edge AI, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SlopBuster at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
